Ballerina at the Barre
There are moments in every parent's life that stand out. Moments when you pass the point of no return. Milestones.
First smile. First step. First day of school. Firsts that mark the path you walk with your child.
And then there are the more subtle occurrences. The ones that sneak up behind you and tap you gently on the shoulder. The quiet moments of transition that serve to remind you that it is time to step off the path, and appreciate the grace and poise of the individual standing before you.
Like a ballerina warming up at the barre before a performance. Quiet, pensive and strong.
